Smartcom Software are
using MIDAS to drive their SmartMet weather information
software. SmartMet is a tool for visualising weather
reports and forecasts, either receiving the data from
the MIDAS server, or by importing industry standard
GRIB files. The software uses powerful, interactive
graphics to allow the user to visualise the weather
data in whatever way they may want, and they can also
export forecasts as GRIB files, for use with other applications.
